FULL NAME: Orwainiel Sal’aneth (nee. Oakwhisper)
NICKNAMES: “Wainey” “O” “Brightness”
OCCUPATION: Researcher/Conjurer
FIRST GLANCES: She has noticeably vivid blue eyes. This is in-contrast from her otherwise mono-chrome self. She has a strong aether which is noticeable to others with such a sense. She can often be seen carrying a small notebook around with her and charcoal pencil.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: A Moon Keeper Miqo’te with a penchant for napping. She is of a medium height with striking white hair and blue eyes with a lust for adventure. She is soft spoken and quick to smile. She tends to keep herself to herself but can be drawn into conversation revolving around natural histories, art, dance or topics of magicks & healing.

BACKGROUND

Orwainiel was born and raised in Gridania. As soon as she was of age, she joined the Adventurer's guild with a hope of becoming a “famous” adventurer and perhaps, with hard work selected to study “serious” magic. This however, was a childish hope. The guild had different plans and Orwainiel was assigned to rather, in her eyes, very boring “research work” within the confines of the Shrouds surrounding Gridania.

She spent her time re-researching the various flowers and fauna of the region. In her spare time, she would study the art of conjuration, hoping that she could someday help others with the healing magicks. Often, she feels out of her depth and is still very much learning. She tries her best to give it her all whenever she can.

On one such research mission, after a fateful encounter with a marlboro, a mysterious Lancer saved her life. After this she never saw him again nor got to thank him for his help. So she decided to strike out on her very first “adventure.” Finding out from various sources this man was actually a Dragoon, she would make her way to Ishgard, feeling if anywhere this would be the most likely place to find such a person. Instead of finding the Dragoon she found someone else entirely, an eccentric and mysterious man named Aeglos, who would soon become her husband.

Now, Orwainiel works for her husband’s company, T&L Industries as a primary researcher. A role she enjoys greatly now she is able to travel further than she ever did before with the guild. She still studies furiously when it comes to magic and has taken up scholarly pursuits in her free time.

I'm an old hand in the Roleplaying game, with about ten years (give or take) experience. The chunk of my Roleplaying over the years has taken place in World of Warcraft & Dungeons and Dragons. Shifting over to FFXIV after I fell out of love with WoW. I'm excited to meet new folks through FFXIV Roleplay and hope we can meet in-game soon!
